This law has been made to ensure that accurate information and complete transparency is available to all potential buyers of properties in Spain.\r\n\r\nBy order of law, all agents with a property for sale must have all the relevant and accurate information for every property they have listed for sale.\r\n\r\nThis decree can only be viewed as positive as its aim is to instil confidence in potential buyers both now and in the future.\r\n\r\n<strong>Documents you will need before registering your property for sale:<\/strong>\r\n<ul class=\"bullet\">\r\n \t<li>Sale agreement, signed.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The Nota Simple or title deeds (Escritura),<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Latest IBI (Rates) and Basura (Rubbish) receipts.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>First occupancy licence (Licencia de 1\u00aa Ocupaci\u00f3n) if aplicable.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Building license (Licencia de obra) if aplicable.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Community fees receipt.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Water or electricity bill.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Floor plans of your property if available.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Lawyer\u2019s details.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>IMORTANT: It is now compulsory to have an energy certificate by Spanish law.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>\u00a0 Property taxes and expenses when selling your property: (Please use the form
